education of issues affecting Lacombe, and District 7 residents.

To serve as a conduit between
residents, developers, and St. Tammany Parish government agencies.

Assist in managing the growth of
Lacombe and District 7.

Encourage single-family low-density
residential land use.

Seek to retain the small-town
character of Lacombe.

To retain and enhance the best
qualities of Lacombe as a place to live.

To cultivate harmonious relationships
between residents and developers such that development is consistent
with the character and history of the area and our stated objectives.

Seek to preserve ecologically
important wetlands and drainage areas in our Community.

To participate and influence
decisions in development of the District 7 comprehensive land use plan.

To observe and review growth
activities relative to the comprehensive land use plan.

To protect Lacombe from incompatible
land uses.

To represent the Lacombe area in an
overall coalition of similar groups within St. Tammany Parish.

To partner with the Chamber of
Commerce and other organizations in their efforts to improve our area.

To partner with the St. Tammany
Sheriff to make Lacombe a safe, law-abiding community.
