The Lacombe Preservation Group (LPG) exists to help preserve the quality of life in and around the Lacombe area. The LPG is a citizen action group, designed to monitor growth issues in and around the Lacombe area, and to communicate these issues to the community at large. St. Tammany Parish has experienced great growing pains that may threaten some of the qualities that make our area the haven that it has become over the years. The LPG realizes that growth is inevitable, and can bring many benefits to St. Tammany residents, but we also realize this growth must be "smart growth". With these ideals in mind, the LPG seeks to work for, and with, the citizens of Lacombe and the St. Tammany Parish Administration in the spirit of win-win cooperation.
